REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 FALL SOFTBALL: AVAILABLE IN JUNE

Hi Parents,

We’re excited to announce that 2025 Fall Softball Registration is now open for 8U, 10U, and 12U players!

🗓️ Registration Deadline: Sunday, July 15
Be sure to register before the deadline—no refunds will be issued after this date.

🔹 PRACTICES

• Held at Aidenn Lair Park in Upper Dublin

• Practices will begin either at the end of August (based on player/coach availability) or the first week of September

• Teams will practice through September until daylight becomes limited

🔹 GAMES

• Games will be scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays, depending on coach and player availability
  ➤ Please note your preferred game day in the "Special Requests" section when registering.

Saturday League:

• Location: Schweiker Park, Hatfield (1275 Moyer Road)

• Runs: September through late October

• ~8 games per team

• Non-competitive league – no playoffs

Sunday League (ICGSL):

• Games played at various local fields

• Runs: September through late October

• 8 games per team

• Non-competitive league – no playoffs

🔹 MOVING UP?

If your daughter is eligible to move up to the next age division in Spring 2026, now is a great time to make that transition—especially for players moving from 10U to 12U, where the ball size changes from 11” to 12”.

🔹 AGE GROUPS FOR FALL 2025

(Determine based on your daughter’s age as of September 1, 2025)

8U:

• Ages 7–8

• Fall 2025 School Grades 2–3

• Coach-pitch

• Includes team jersey and socks

10U:

• Ages 9–10

• Fall 2025 School Grades 4–5

• Primarily player-pitch

• Includes team jersey and socks

12U:

• Ages 11–12

• Fall 2025 School Grades 6–8

• Player-pitch

• Includes team jersey and socks

15U:

🔹 REFUND POLICY

1. Full refunds will be issued if a team cannot be formed in a given age group

2. No refunds will be given after regular registration closes on July 15

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 UDJAA SOFTBALL SEASON IS OPEN  

2025 SOFTBALL SEASON/WINTER TRAINING:  

Gym time has been scheduled on Sunday's-between the hours of 1-5, Jan-March, for winter softball workouts:  Players will have an opportunity to work on skills prior to the start of the season 

Looking to get involved in UDJAA Softball....Volunteers Needed: 

** One volunteer to oversee 10U winter practices

**One volunteer to oversee 12U winter practices

**Volunteer(s) to participate on the ICGSL Board--every community must have at least one volunteer on the board to play in the league--Looking for VP, Treasurer, Secretary, Committee Chairperson,  & possibly (will not know until after first meeting if the following positions are open)-- league Commissioners/Score Keepers, and Rules/Sportmanship Committee per@league

Register early and save on registration cost: $145 through January 5TH;  Cost will be $170 after January 5TH.  10U, 12U , 15U will play local communities in the     ICGSL- Inter Community Girls Softball League...8U--ICGSL or play UD teams only

2025 Age Groups: please note--subject to change-pending on ICGSL program-----please register your daughter for the age group based on your daughters age as of Jan 1 2025--league commissioner will be in touch prior to moving your daughter to a different age group if necessary 

8U: Players primarily age 6, 7 or 8  as of Jan 1, 2025--primarily 1st & 2nd grade, coach pitch, play surrounding communities in ICGSL, players will receive team jersey&socks

10U: Players primarily age 8, 9 or 10  as of Jan 1, 2025---primarily 3rd & 4th  grade, primarily player pitch, play surrounding communities in ICGSL, players will receive team jersey & socks

12U: Players primarily age 10,11 or 12 as of Jan 1, 2025---primarily 5th, 6th, & 7th grade, play surrounding communities in ICGSL, players will receive team jersey & socks

15U: Players age 13-15 as of Jan 1, 2025, play surrounding communities in ICGSL, players will receive team jersey & socks

EQUIPMENT:

1-ALL Softball Players families need to provide a fielders glove, batting helmet with cage and Black softball pants. Glove Size must fit: 8/10U 11" ball & 12U/15U-12" ball

2- Recommended equipment for all players: Fielders safety Mask (such as RIP IT), Bat, Cleats (softball or soccer), & equipment bag

There will be a 20% off DICK"S Sporting Goods Day to purchase equipment at a discount--please contact udjaasofball@gmail.com if your family is in need for help with batting helmet or black pants. Team bats will be available if needed

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A TEAM JERSEY AND SOCKS---BE SURE TO NOTE JERSEY SIZE WHEN REGISTERING--PLEASE NOTE THAT JERSEYS CAN RUN SMALL AND THERE ARE NO EXCHANGES---THEY ARE JERSEY MATERIAL--NOT A TEE SHIRT

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2023 FALL SOFTBALL SEASON IS OPEN

Registration is open for 8U,10U,12U--CLICK ON THE SOFTBALL PICTURE BELOW TO FIND THE REGISTRATION LINK

PRACTICES: will be held at Aiden Lair Park in Upper Dublin

GAMES: will be held on Saturdays at Schweiker Park-1275 Moyer Rd, Hatfield--about 20-25 minutes from UD

Teams will practice end of August (if players/coaches are available) or begin the first weekend of September. Teams can hold a Saturday and/or weeknight practice until around the end of September (once dark out early--no more weeknight practices). Games will run from September-October--usually 8 games per@team--this league is not competitive during the fall--no play offs. If your daughter will be moving up in age bracket Spring 2023--this is the perfect time to move up. 

REFUNDS:

1. A full refund will be issued if a team can not be formed
2. No refund will be given once teams have been formed and uniforms have been ordered
3.  If a player can no longer participate and #2 has not yet occurred, a refund less $35 will be issued
